Plans to restore Robbins Memorial Garden unveiled
The Winfield Robbins Memorial Garden isn’t what it used to be. The main reflecting pool and water feature have fallen into disrepair and now the Friends of Robbins Town Gardens, the Arlington Historical Commission and the Town of Arlington are banding together to restore the garden to its previous beauty.

SOUTH BOSTON -- About 250 people of all ages gathered for the archdiocese's Respect Life Mass at Our Lady of Good Voyage Shrine on Oct. 1.

Hundreds march for life on Boston Common
BOSTON -- Hundreds of pro-life supporters stopped traffic around the Boston Common as they marched, sang, and prayed during the 2017 Massachusetts March for Life on Oct. 1.
Hosted by Massachusetts Citizens for Life, the event began at 1 p.m. with a rally at the Parkman Bandstand in Boston Common. The rally included live praise and worship music and a series of pro-life speakers.

Altar servers honored for service
WALTHAM -- Cardinal Seán P. O'Malley honored altar servers in the Archdiocese of Boston at a special appreciation Mass at St. Mary Church in Waltham on Oct. 21.
Servers and their families from over 30 parishes filled the pews to celebrate with the cardinal, who blessed the servers and gave them each a certificate of thanks.
